🎙️ Temporary Voice Channels

Create your own voice channel from the Voice Hub, customize it, and manage who can join — all with simple commands.

Overview #

Temporary Voice Channels are auto-created when you join the Voice Hub. You instantly become the channel owner and can control access, name, and visibility. Channels are removed automatically when inactive.

How ownership works
  • Joining the Voice Hub spawns your personal VC and grants you ownership.
  • If you leave, ownership may transfer or be claimable after a short time.
  • Moderators can override settings when needed.

Getting started #

  1. Join the Voice Hub channel.
  2. Your personal VC appears (e.g., “#1 — Username’s Channel”).
  3. Use the commands below to set limits, rename, lock, or invite friends.
  4. When empty for a while, the channel is cleaned up automatically.

Permissions #

  • Owners: Full control of their own temporary VC via voice commands.

FAQ #

What happens when everyone leaves?

The temporary VC is auto‑deleted after a short period of inactivity to keep things tidy.

Can I keep my VC permanent?

Temporary VCs are designed to be ephemeral. If you need a permanent room, request it from staff.

I lost ownership — how do I get it back?

If there’s no current owner, try /voice-claim. Otherwise, ask a moderator for assistance.
